12 charecters of an effective website

Many people do feel at sea after they launch their website and attempt to navigate the sometimes confusing channels of the internet. They wonder why their website doesn't get more traffic and why their inbox is not filling up with emails from people clamoring to buy their products or services.
Rules do change very often !!
Some people have great success on the web without spending a huge amount of money? Is it unrealistic to think that you can make a living working on the web? No. But Your site should be an effective one. Effective websites should include the following:

1. Your website needs to focus on a specific niche.

2. You need to do keyword research and although Google no longer gives weight to Meta keywords some of the other major search engines still do.

3. Your website should have the main keyword used throughout and each page should be written around 5-10 keywords that are tightly focused on that particular page's topic.

4. Content is still King. Well written, focused content is crucial.

5. Meta titles need to include your keywords.

6. Organization of content should include headings and subtitles to make it easy for readers to scan the pages. Be sure to include your keywords in these headings as well.

7. Most people on the web are looking for information. If you don't give them anything of value or entertain them, they will be gone, probably for good.

8. Use keywords in links whereever possible.

9. Include a call to action and,if possible, offer a Free trial. You have to build trust before you can make a sale.

10. Check your website in various browsers (FireFox, Internet Explorer, etc.) to make sure it displays equally well in all.

11. Your personality is what attracts people to you so why would you create a generic website with all of the excitement of a flat glass of pop. Keep the content fresh so it has Fizz!

12. Most importantly, have realistic expectations of what you want to achieve with your website. With all the hype about overnight successes on the internet it's difficult to put your results into perspective. If you expect instant success and it isn't happening, it's easy to become demoralized and quit before you reach your goal.

Wordpress Blog

It is a fact that a website continually updated with new content being added regularly has a good chance of doing well in Google. One method longstanding regularly to expand the content of a site is through the use of a blog. While there are many platforms to choose to manage a blog, few can compare with the enormous flexibility offered by WordPress, and cost of free elections, the price can not win either.

Google loves fresh content and fresh, and the creation of a blog on your site, assuming it is updated often with interesting and relevant material, can be one of the best things you can do to help your search rankings . The beauty behind WordPress is that there is a wide range of completely free plug-ins can be installed easily, making your blog search engines entirely.

There are some basic guidelines and essential modules you must consider when installing your WordPress blog.
Template Design
The first configuration we need to do is to work on customizing the design to match your existing site. What I would suggest finding a template that matches as closely as possible the look that will then work to adjust the graphics, colors, and others to achieve the desired appearance.

Most changes will occur in the header.php, footer.php, index.php, page.php and files in the editor of subjects, however, the issue of installing the files that are given really need to be updated. You also need to make some adjustments to your CSS file. These changes involve all those working with the code and graphics, and are more likely to be left to a professional.

Once you have created your design, the rest of the customization is considerably less technical. The following are suggestions that most people can do themselves and probably do not need an expert to help here.
Permalinks
The next thing to do is customize your URL. You do not want the post default URL ( "pageid = #"), they simply are not search friendly and you want your default name to have any meaning for them. While you can customize your URL with several plug-ins, we can not always do this, so be sure to have a defect that can live.

Under the settings tab on your desktop, click Permalinks. Here I suggest a choice of settings that include the post name. Including the month and year is completely optional, since they have little or no impact on your search rankings, but definitely do want to include the name since.

WWW or without WWW
With WordPress there is no need to worry about the www vs. non-www redirects. Is handled for you, but you do need to select the variation you want, and it's easy to do. Under "General Settings" you will see two fields, one for the "WordPress address" and the other, "the blog address. Make sure that these fields include the "www" (or not), what you want, and that's it. (I always recommend using the "www" version of the URL as most people linking to your site to use, and this will help maintain consistency between your web site.

Plug-ins needed
There are an almost infinite supply of free plug-ins out there that can add to your site from photo galleries and spam protection, to the media for integrators Twitter, Facebook, Digg and others. While many of these will benefit from his blog and search rankings, XML Sitemap, SEO and plug-ins are really essential.

SEO plug-in
When configuring your new installation, the first plug-in you need to install the enabling customized title, meta description tags and the URL of the page. There are a number of tools to do so from the very popular "All in One SEO Pack" for a relative newcomer "HeadSpace2.

Although I personally have yet to try HeadSpace2, is high on my list, as recommended by many industry professionals as the best WordPress SEO plugin. For any new blog I recommend you install this plug-in will be installed immediately.

XML Sitemap plug-in
To the best of my knowledge, HeadSpace2 not have a choice of XML sitemap, and as such I highly recommend "Google XML Sitemaps. This plug-in automatically generate XML sitemaps for you on the progress and submit it to Google every time you add, delete or update a page or post. This helps ensure that Google has the latest information at all times. It is a very simple plugin to install and configure, and once setup, you can forget about it and that will work for you.

An optimized site filled with relevant content can do well in Google if setup correctly. The power of WordPress you can have this process so incredibly easy, all you have to worry about the major is writing articles and selling their customers. Plug-ins and features are endless and if WordPress is installed correctly can make optimizing your blog considerably easier, increasing your chances of ranking higher.

Types of Blogs: Choose Which is Most Suitable for You

Blogging is now one of the best ways to provide fresh, high quality content to your followers and subscribers. If you are not already using the blogging platform to attract visitors to your products and services, you are missing a golden opportunity. If you are stuck for ideas on what to add to your business blog, here are a few types:

1. Personal log or diary : Create a personal diary to share your daily thoughts, tips and advice with your visitors. Become a 'thought leader' in your sector and research new ideas to pass onto others

2. Review blog: Review other sites and blogs in your niche market. Make sure you ask for comments and encourage your visitors to recommend your blog to others. Provide recommendations, feedback and honest critique on other people's services and products. Once your visitors know, like and trust you, they will be more comfortable following your recommendations.

3. Community blog: One of the best ways to grow your subscriber list is to create a community blog. You will be providing a place where your visitors can share their problems with others, just like them, to hopefully find solutions. In general, people have a natural desire to feel part of a group or community, rather than exist in isolation. A prime example of this, is the astronomical raise in popularity of the new social networking sites such as Facebook, now reporting over 110 million users worldwide.

4. Internal blog: If you work for a large organization consider using a blog to share ideas and brainstorming events. People like to feel their opinion counts.

Blogging Just For Money : Here are 3 quick steps

There are many ways to earn an income but one of the more popular methods is to blog for money. One main reason is that blogging really does sound like a hobby more than anything else and it sounds easy.

This is the main trap that I don't want you to get into and if possible it should be a mutual understanding between us that blogging can be serious business. Seriously earning a good income requires you to do a few things and here are some quick ways to get started on the right track.

Quick Tip 1: Pick a topic/niche you enjoy writing about:
We all have different interest and that's one misconception about business I'd like to clarify. Just going into a niche because it is lucrative won't get you anywhere. But being interested in one will profit you.
This is the very same reason why some blogs are more successful than others simply because it is their passion to write certain things about. Things that you are knowledgeable can truly help another who needs to know a little about that topic you are good at.

Quick Tip 2: Enable Advertisements On Your Blog:
It is unlikely that people just want to read your posts again and again, sometimes it is good to give them a little 'entertainment' by providing them some advertisement on the side bar of your blog.
Clicking these ads will not only earn your advertisers some money through transactions and potential purchases but you will also earn some advertising revenue. Be a good blogger by putting relevant advertisement to your discussion topics and you will surely prosper. Use adsense, which is the best and highest paying PPC network on the internet.
Quick Tip 3: Sell Your Own Products Online :
You might have friends who are selling some physical items online using their websites or plain old physical shop styles. You can also start a blog about that item and if you got repeat readers to your site, good.
Here is why, these people actually trust you and have some sort of feeling that they 'know you personally'. No kidding, the more they trust you the more they take what you say as the truth. If you say a product is good, they will happily buy from you.

Sometimes, you don't just blog or put a certain blog post because you want to attract lots of eyeballs or get numerous attention on twitter or stumbleupon. Rather, put really awesome posts which benefits your readers, it will help boost your credibility for posting useful things for people in the long run.

How to be among top 10 search results on google for a particular niche?

How to come in the top ten sites in google in your particular niche?

The first step you shall need to be on the top of all searches is to be a master of your niche. Content is still king and shall remain king for the coming years too. You must be able to wite consistantly, passionately and in such a way on your niche that it's engaging to your pre-existing audience, it's equally as important to grow that audience in the case that they might click on some of the ads surrounding whatever the content is in your blog.

There is an example of problogger. It teaches you how to make a living while blogging. Google has placed Problogger.net into the top three sites on their searches for related keywords for as long as I've been looking into the business. When I began writing for income several years ago, chasing after freelance contracts only so-so, Derrick's (Owner of Problogger) continual stream of resources helped me a great deal with beginning the process. Now that I've begun to build a blog of my own, his is among the first sites I check for tips on how to get it done.

Problogger has a very good niche. Making a living as a blogger. Derrick knew that, with all of the crazy hacks like you out there, who knew how to write but not necessarily how to monetize your writing (as good as it might be,) there could be a ready-made stream of traffic that would automatically be searching for ways to make their online writing careers work for them. The second step is to master some of the technical aspects of the online marketing world specifically, so that you can recruit new readers and thereby increase the chance of their clicking on some random ad on the page or, better yet, of being so moved or entertained by your writing that they donate to your site directly.

Problogger focuses on the content of the blog and gives tips on how to keep more readers coming in. The base of earning income on any blog, though, is dependent upon ad and donation solicitation placements.

Success with simplicity

So many offers are being thrown at me and I am tired of all this. I am spending more money than I am earning and I want to know what is the baisc success formula of an affiliate business.

There are so many tools that seem to be great and I wish to buy them all but none of them makes me the king of the niche i am working on , so what to do?

Probably the most important step many new affiliate marketers miss is understanding the people who buy the product. This is so important because you need to know what will trigger them to buy that product; otherwise, 1000's of visitors are not going to make you successful if you are not providing them with the right message!

This is all done by the research! It is the essential part of your affiliate campaign. Knowing who the person is, and what they need solved will make your affiliate campaign convert at 50%.

Don't research keywords until you know what they want! Keywords are really an easy part once you can solve their problem. Think like a buyer with the problem and not like a seller!

Always keep an eye on your competition! Don't ever copy their campaigns, but see if you can improve off them, and see what mistakes they are making so you don't make any!

As much as it is important to find the HOT niche! That much more it is important to test the campaign to get the best results.

Your site will not sell anything if you don't have visitors. At the same time, thousands of visitors are not going to buy anything unless they are targeted traffic!

Stop wasting your money on "over night riches", and learn what made you want to buy that product because it comes down to finding the problem a person has.

There is a lot of free quality data available. Read the blogs and implement what you learn!

And the only other thing you should know is that you have to implement what you learn.

Pay Per Click Publisher's Programs

Pay per click (PPC) is the easiest and most popular method used by website owners and bloggers in their respective niches to make money online. We only require a click on any of PPC ads shown on our website or blog to make some money of it.
We can make from few cents to some dollars for each click made on a PPC ad. And as we are able to increase the popularity and traffic on our website, we surely are able to make more amount of money with PPC ads.
There are many advertising companies on the Internet that offering pay per click services to website owners and bloggers. Some of popular pay per click advertising companies are Google Adsense, Yahoo Publisher Network, Adbrite, Bidvertiser and Clicksor. And among all of these advertising companies, Google Adsense is the most popular and used pay per click advertising program.
We need to apply for these advertising companies with a website or blog of our own before using their ads on our websites. And once our account gets approved, we are able to show their Ads on our websites by adding some Java Scripts code on our website where we want to show their ads. These companies give us lots of ad format and ad customizations options so that we can customize the ads according to our website design and our own interest. We can even customize these ads in such a manner that they look as a part of your website content.

So here is some brief introduction about some of most popular PPC programs available today on Internet for us to make extra amount of money with our websites:

Google Adsense: is the oldest and most popular advertising program used by webmasters and bloggers around the world. Google offers many varieties of ads like text ads, image ads, ‘image and text ads’ and video ads. Adsense gives us the opportunity to make hundreds or even thousands of dollars per month with our website depending upon the kind of traffic and niche our website exists. Once we have added the Adsense ads on a webpage, Google shows ads according to the kind of content we are offering on that page and according to the user’s destination from where they are accessing our website.
Yahoo Publisher Network (YPN): is very similar to Google Adsense as YPN is also offering the same kind of adverting options to its publishers as Google Adsense is offering. But the only drawback that we have with YPN is that, it is available for publishers in America only. So if you are in India or any other county except USA, you are not eligible for Yahoo publisher network.
Bidvertiser: is not big like Google Adsense or YPN. But they have their own qualities and plus points like their online support. One more plus point they have compared to Google Adsense is that they send payments via paypal, which is a very fast method of sending and receiving money. Their minimum payout in case you prefer to receive your money via paypal is $10 and via Check the minimum payout is $10 only. Although Bidvertiser may not have many ads relevant to your website niche but we are remain with very few options when we get banned from Google Adsense or not willing to use Google Adsense and are not a US citizen.
Clicksor: is another small company like Bidvertiser in PPC advertising. I have heard from some publishers that that they don’t have many advertisers to show ads on our websites and many times we are left with no ad or some very low cost PPC ads. But the plus point that they have is they can send payments via paypal (that we are missing with Google Adsense) and checks as well and send payments once in 15 days time. Another positive point that they have is they share 70 percent of advertising revenue with its publishers.
Adbrite: is one of fast growing Pay per click and most customizable advertising company on the internet. They can be used as a good alternate to Google Adsense. Their click through rate is not high as Google Adsense or YPN are offering. But they have inline and full page ads which gives us an excellent way to monetize the traffic that we have on our website. They also don’t have any big condition compared to Google Adsense, YPN or Clicksor when you apply for a publisher account. They accept all publishers whether they are big or small website owners or even bloggers.
Some of other PPC ad networks that you can try are Chitika, Widgetbucks and Oxado.
Here is a full directory of PPC Programs

Is Anybody Making Money online except Internet Marketing Experts??

There is a lot of hype in recent times about making money online. You google a little and search on "make Money Online" and "Making Money Online" You will find out that much of the info out there is selling various info products or Softwares or e-books. It seems that everybody is selling something and there are no buyers .

Do you know that most of the people who make money online admit that they are earning less than $ 100 a year . Then what is the right way ? Which way should I go , if I wish to try my luck over internet?
Here is what we can say legitimate making money:-
Making money online used to pretty much require you to have your own Web site, products to sell and some marketing savvy. But a new generation of dot-coms have arisen that will pay you for what you know and who you know without you having to be a web designer or a marketing genius.
But it's hard to tell hype from the real deal. I did a search on "make money online" and "making money online", and much of the information out there is just promoting various infoproducts, mostly about Internet marketing. I see why people sometimes ask, "Is anyone making money online besides Internet marketing experts?"
So I put together a list of business opportunities with legitimate companies that:

1. The companies that pay cash, not just points towards rewards or a chance to win money
2. The companies that don't require you to have your own Web domain or your own products . ( there are many companies like sitesell which would sell hosting space to you first)
3. That don't involve any hard-selling. Particularly if you are new to this business. If you think that you can sell a large inventory over internet very easily I would say That you are in a fool's paradise. This is the most competitive industry.
4. MLM and Network marketing that require you to make more members under you land you no where most of the times.
5. Give a good return on your time investment
